What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

I work for a company that does bridge repair. One of my tasks is operating a shwing concrete pump. Pushing mud in below freezing temps is a blast!

Gotcha. Amazing to see how often we see pumps and conveyors used in our paving projects these days.

Menards run today! Buddy wants to make a run and asked if I'd go along.......

I don't need anything but I'm sure I'll find something.

Maybe some fire starters, oscillating tool blades, 4 wing LED screw in garage light .............. there, see? Didn't take long at all!

...and of course laundry detergent?

Pick up a couple sheets of 1/2" plywood (cd) for me while you're there.

I just had to call my wife in absent for work. That’s a first for me! She didn’t want the bossman to hear her crying. Her mother passed away an hour ago.

Sorry for your loss.

OK, I don't know if I'll stop by your house to drop it off, so just look for it along I-35 somewhere! I'll blow the horn as I drop it off!

How sad. I'm sure you'll take good care of her.

In this application we are working on substructure. Only other way would be buckets!

Sorry for your loss. May your wife find peace and comfort.

I've been eyeing those garage lights. My garage needs something.

A couple guys I know bought the "tri-burst" led positional lights. 4000 lumnes and really like them $20 on sale. I looked around and some menards offer a similar light (three positional LED panels) for $15....and rated at 6000 lumens! Check around before you buy 'em.

The one that caught my eye is a 4-panel positional LED panel light rated at 12,000 lumens....

Those won't be northern lights you see when you look up north towards the U.P.

I see the buckets are there at the ready for any laborers that get too mouthy...

X2 ole

Lol. The buckets are for mixing the slurry that primes the pump.

Those are the "port-a-potty"

Cool picture.

Reconstructing an abutment or pier wall on an existing bridge?

Any of them NOT made in chyna? I don't care if its made in taiwan, mexico, whatever...(obviously USA would be preferable) whenever I have a choice I'm not buying anything made in chyna anymore...

Yes. Our bread and butter is chipping rotted concrete away due to salt and rusted/swollen rebar and then covering it back up. Here in the rust belt there is plenty of work.

Double duty...or double doody
