    Coffee is fine. Morning all.

minnow woes continue. I drove 150 miles yesterday trying to find some. Found enough to make me mad. Supposedly a truck from south Florida was bringing some to a bait shop in Frostproof last night. I have to be there at 6 am to find out. All should be well later today as the trucks from Missouri and Arkansas will be back.

    Good morning, all.

The ground was "squishy" yesterday. With temps near 50 today, the ground will be again.

Maybe, I'll spend some time sitting on the deck soaking up some sun. listening to some tunes. Or not.

    Stay safe
    Stay bealthy

    Morning everyone.
Looks like we are supposed to have a warmer day here today. Probably be too messy to get any outside work done , good day to get an oil change done on the truck.
Haven't decided weather to do it myself or just have it done. I used to do it all the time but lately I have just been having it done. For a few bucks more I can have it done at the shop and I have no mess , don't have to drag the jack out and crawl under ( comes with a face-full of sand and salt at no charge ), no waste oil to dispose of. After typing this I think I know where this is going.

    Have a great day.

Good morning everyone! I moved the last of the sugar maple out of the shed and into the basement yesterday. It was great, I was working in a long sleeve t-shirt. Today, I think I'll split some oak! Melting snow underfoot, but that's no problem.
It's not as springlike as this time last year, when I has crocuses poking up. But there's a lot of days in the 40's coming up.
Hope the minnow shortage ends! 6ICt0fv.jpg
    Have a good one!

Mud season should arrive here next week! I love the 4 seasons in Indiana: barren wasteland (winter), mud (spring), too stinking hot/road construction (summer) and fall (which is just about perfect).

Happy Wednesday everyone! Beautiful day yesterday. There's a small factory nearby that sets out pallets free for the taking. The weather has been so bad that I haven't seen any for about 2 weeks. Yesterday I hit the jackpot. I picked up 8 decent ones plus some unusual boxes that come on pallets that they have regularly. I actually had to leave some behind so I picked what suited me best. Got them unloaded in the pallet yard behind the barn last night. Also rigged up a mount for the new Husqvarna blower on my firewood trailer. Started to tear into 2 IBC totes and found the bolts were too tight so I'll pick up a specialty socket to handle the job. We're headed for 44* today with lots of sun so that should take care of much of the remaining snow.

Good morning brother. Yes sir, with the price of oil and filters now, let them change it and lube the front end as well.

Morning All. Woke up to freezing temps. Yesterday was sunshine as we made another quick trip down island to pick up chimney parts. campinspecter should be able to get the new chimney flashing in place before the complete install happens. It would be nice to do it on a dry day and not a wet one.

I think we are staying home today. Things to do here that can't be put off any longer.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good Morning fellow hoarders. Sunny and headed to the mid 40's here today. Gonna go and split more black locust at least a cords worth. Still several inches of snow on the ground.

Hope everyone has a great day. If youre making firewood please work safe my friends!
