Lat year I believe, there was a post about those stove top fans that run on a small current generated by a diode
(tunnel diode to be exact according to my scientist son). I have one, a VonHaus, and like most mentioned they move a little heat, but are more of a novelty and most quit working after a season or two, like mine did.
I found to get it working again, all I have to do is tighten the 2 machine screws that hold the top and bottom section together that has the diode between them. Soooo, might want to try that before throwing it in the recycle bin when it quits. :dennis:

I bought one of the original expensive ones. Lasted bout 4 months. I did like it tho. It was just enough to break the cold/warm barrier on the master bedroom.
Replaced it with some cheapo Chinese knockoff at half the price. Been running four years now. Sometimes you can just never tell.
