Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Had 2" of rain yesterday, almost 4/10th since midnight. Creeks and rivers are flooding. Supposed to be moving out today, pretty weekend, of course I'm working. I'll take it 1 day at a time, as the GOOD LORD grants me days.
At least the days are getting longer.
Remember the GOLDEN RULE.

Top of the morning hoarders. A little snow late yesterday but nothing in the forecast for today. Currently 10* and sunny. Another system expected to come in Sunday night. Made contact with local tree service last night. Hopeful for another source of wood chips and logs.

 

Some of your stuff must have ended up at my place because I have way too much also!

 

Dont ever move...youll find out how much you really have! Especially if you hoard stuff!
And rumor has it i have a hoarding problem.

This one is more local than the others that have brought me a few loads and seems to be a larger outfit. I realize I can only get what they don't want but...it all burns! And I use a ridiculous amount of wood chips around my place. Fingers crossed!

 

I started putting fish away for the 80 year old Diane that I met this year. I affectionately call her “The Pie Lady”. She makes me pies and cakes and always uses lard for the pie crusts. She likes crappie but I will stop fishing for them in about 4 weeks. I need to put away 26 bags for her so she has plenty until I start fishing for them the first week of September. She only requires 3 fish per bag so it won’t take long. I put 5 bags in the freezer for her today.

 

Do you just gut, scale and freeze? Fillet?
