    500 good reasons!
    IMG_4109.JPG IMG_4110.JPG
The three local OPE dealers around here have had one or two of these in stock and they go right away. My regular OPE dealer informed me end of January they have two coming in very soon.
Thanks to all of your kind "encouragement" FHC i had them reserve one for me. Got the call on Friday it was in! Picked it up today! 25" bar. Cant believe i own one! :saw:
Question for anyone who owns/uses one. What should i expect from this vs. my 460? Any words of warning/advice greatly appreciated.

Come on now, run 10+ tanks through that thing and you tell us how it does vs the 460:cool:

Are you going to get that cherry smelling detailer to use on it?

Start apologizing to the 460 for the neglect.

NICE!! very interested to see your comparison in cutting and handling compared to your 460! Even compared to the 261! To cold to CSS around here so I haven’t thought about the 400i for awhile. I have been truck shopping though:hair:

Probably the sassafras scent! Ten tanks...may take a while.

Wondering what kind of "gas mileage" it gets?

I had the them side by side and the 460 was giving it the evil eye. IMG_4113.JPG The 361 had a blank stare while the 500i was smiling! IMG_4111.JPG

I saw this coming, but honestly I didn’t think it would be for another month or so. I guess that’s what happens when the weather has you stuck inside for to long, CAD turns into cabin fever and then irrational thinking sets in .... and then BAM!!! :hair::wacky::loco:  A new saw shows up!
    Have fun with it

Congrats! She will have more power than the 460 with a wider power band, lightning fast acceleration, way smoother, overall more refined and awesome power to weight. It's one of the the best running saws out of the box I've had in my hands, the only saw that comes close, is the old school Dolmar 7900.

Here is a video if the day I picked mine up. New saws are addictive!

Congratulations on the new saw purchase! Glad to see you got enough bar on it to at least be able to stand mostly upright when bucking. :)

It's too pretty to mess it up cutting wood. I'd place it on the mantle and just look at it. :D

    So shiny!
I bet for every 15 minutes of cutting you will spend at least an hour stacking.

Enjoy the heck out of it.
