What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

This one was just shy of 300k. My wife came with it. I put the last 100k on it . Only had to replace the exhaust and front pads once. The rockers rotted to the point my buddy wouldn’t put a sticker on it unless I did something about it. My commute at the time was short and she got a new explorer I figured it wasn’t worth keeping on the road. I sold it cheap. A few months later I got a job with a bit longer commute I wish I hadn’t sold it...

 

Cant hardly believe he used wire nuts and not just tape.. I guess a box or two cost to much..

Meanwhile in northern Maine on VD weekend , this ended in the wife’s hometown and huge excitement there. Average age of residents is like a nursing home, all 200 of them. Greenfield man arrested after driving wrong-way on highway

 

. That's about the only thing that wasn't wrong with this place besides the wood flooring on the main level. Some of the wiring may be only, 2-wire, but at least it isn't extension cords.

Trying to express to a wife’s grandmother turning 100 in 2 weeks Covid in broken French why we cannot make her a visit

 

Started my eave extension project today. Figured I'd get the windows aligned and one replaced too, but these jobs always take longer than you think....

It's easy to tell this house was build by someone who lived through the great depression. Lots of reused boards and spliced wire.

 

We had a restaurant in town get struck by cars three times in two weeks. One car went into the building 20 feet.

 

The stuff that gets hid behind walls will amaze you sometimes.

 

We have a house on a bad corner that gets whacked every few years. House is a dump and they just keep fixing it. One of these days they will make it a drive thru.

 

Local news just reported the other day about a building built back in the 1800's is going to be taken down because of too may vehicles hitting it. It is cost prohibitive to keep repairing and it is close to one end of a bridge that provides plenty of cars that get out of control and hit it.
