Ahh. Then Happy birthday to T.Jeff Veal 's wife and "Anyone else that's having a birthday" And happy Valentine's day to everyone!
So who's grilling out dinner tonight for Valentine's day? I said I would grill steaks, and I will, but I'm letting that gas grill preheat for like 15 minutes on high for all 4 burners.
Horkn normally we cook a surf and turf for vday but mrs piney and my daughter are in FL for a few days. So me and little man are probably gonna go fry up some chicken! Or I'm gonna be lazy and go get some take out lol
Ground beef/ground steak...potato/potahto Who is it...Steak n Shake(?) that has the grilled ground steak melt sammy...yum!
Yep, surf and turf here too. I do have to go out and go on a liquor store run though. She'll handle the surf part and the sides. I just need to do the steaks.
I just found out a local bbq joint makes a rib rye cheese steak! . I was just about to jump in the truck and take little man for a ride to get one but they're closed on Sundays
Bedroom and bathroom renovation round 2 started this AM. Demo on first bedroom revealed wiring typical of the "electrician" that wired this place.
One of my friends had one of this in high school as a winter beater. We were going somewhere from different locations and I saw him on the road. I went a different route to beat him there and he just never showed up. Half hour later I went looking, guess I drove past a couple times before he made it into the road. I stopped and asked him where his car was. He pointed to the ditch and all I could see was 4 tires sticking up. It was winter and he was trying to beat me to where we were going and he lost it in some slushy chit on the edge of the road. Spun around backwards and flopped over into the ditch. We said we’d get the tractor the next day and pull it out. Someone beat us to it and drug it down the road on its side until it wore through the doors. Cops found it a few days later.
And that right there is another toyota I owned and enjoyed. the corolla I had ended up being traded in with 287,000 on the ticker! It still ran great but I needed the rav for a little extra room. The reason for a truck would be for hauling. I would be out of town and happen across a deal that if I had the truck with me, the deal would have gone home with us. I guess that rav ended up saving us a bit of $$ in the unplanned for purchases department. She still regrets the estate sale where two twin sized beds....complete.... head and foot boards, frames, box spring, mattresses (like new-never used) for $200 were left behind. "I'll even throw in the sheets and bedspreads" There is no way to fit that stuff in a rav!
