No offense, as I'm aware that you are not a man.. This prick of a neighbor somehow tried to question my manliness by calling me "soft" before hurling insults at my wife who wasn't even there. In addition to being much larger than him, I had to remind him that he drives mommy's hand me down RAV4. They are nice little crossovers, not really fitting of someone trying to portray themselves as a tough guy. He used the word "bro" too many times for that rav4 to allow his inflated head into that car.
I ignore him. That's all we've done until he ran his mouth the other day. I'll continue to ignore him because he's nothing.
Didn’t know you had to drive a truck to be a man.. I drove a carolla for years. I figured my wife and young children would be safer in the F150.
The baby blue 4 door Tempo I drove to work for years was a real "manly car" too... Best automotive investment I've ever made though...bought it for $200, put something like 130-140k miles on it over 6-7 years (most of that in 4 years) it got 40 MPG every tank, it never needed anything other than maintenance and normal wear items...never left me sit (until the end)...sold it to the scrap yard for something like $250 after the ball joint came apart in the local library parking lot at ~300 miles shy of 300,000 miles...half shaft pulled out of the trans, puked oil everywhere...I had a 2x4 keeping the rear strut towers from folding into the trunk...it was time, off to the scrap yard since it was already on the trailer
Had a friend that had a Saturn like that. It looked good due to the plastic body panels, but underneath it was rusty as could be. It would burn so much oil that he had to stop every 100 miles and top it off. He's lucky that thing never left him stranded.
Got the ice jam freed up! . Downspout thawed out and thawed the gutter since I was up there. She's flowing nicely now.
My only good gm experience was with a 91 olds Calais quad 4 ( lower hp one) essentially it was a Pontiac grand am. I drove it until it got too rusty for me. Then sold it to my buddy. He ran it until the chassis rotted out so much that the engine would twist and hit the hood when in gear. He used a ratchet strap to hold the engine in place at the end. Thing had 350k on it when he junked it, and amazingly that quad4 still ran ok. It didn't smoke aside from a tiny amount at cold startup.
Lol. Not going there. He's seen me cut wood/ haul wood, split wood. He can see part of my wood shed. That alone says enough.
I usually don't have a problem but the downspout was blocked at the bottom by snow that froze over and it just froze solid up to the gutter.
Had a friend in HS that had one. He called it the 'vette. I never asked, but then I saw it. Then it was obvious. Corvette, chevette, chitvette. What's the difference?
Shouldn't be any damage as it just froze up a day or two ago. And I'm with ya. I like em and hate em the same. They're great for directing water where ya want it to go but they always seem to be a nuisance at the worst times lol.
