Got the valve mounted, plumbed in, hoses ran to the front. Just hooked up the grapple, it opens wide. Had to change 1 coupler on the tractor hose, both were female. I like having a set of couplers, hook them together, keeps them clean.
Yeah we had about 7-8" on the ground when i cleared off the driveway an hour ago. i would say theres another 1-2" on it now. Wind is blowing pretty hard too. How about you?
If we have some significant snow by the AM, i will try to get some pics of the Deere in action. Im guessing i will have to clear it off just from the blowing snow. Its a pretty light snow and im sure its going to blow around quite a bit.
So i got out and cleaned up some more snow this morning. The little one was amazed by the pile of snow i made for her!! I think we ended up getting about a foot. I cleaned out about 6 of my neighbors driveways also.
Nice work. What would we do without our tractors. We ended up getting 10.5. I was busy most of the day pushing snow.
While not doing work yet, i did get my box blade today. I sold a manual feed bearcat chipper/shredder to pay for this. I didnt really enjoy running the chipper as the manual feed was too dangerous.
I'm changing out the valve, ordered a Landpride 3rd function valve kit this morning. After doing some research, found out that valve I had wasn't rated to be in series with other valves, it didn't have power beyond or tank ports......it also seemed to reduce my lift capacity...... Good news, my friend has said if I had any problems, he would take it back. He brought the money by today......
Haven’t needed chains yet this winter, but needed to move some wood so I put them on. One bucket of Red Oak for me, two buckets of Red Maple, Ash, and Black Cherry for a neighbor.
