Not quite from our living room window. On the way home campinspecter stopped to fuel up the car and I ran down to the road to get these pictures.

When we got home, I ran outside on the porch to snap the last of the sunset.

Not much of a view from here but it is proof that we do get snow occasionally in the winter.

That's our neighbour. Awesome small engine mechanic. His storage for backup, backup machines is out there.

Eleven months later, I am posting pics of our first winter snow this season. Howling winds and about 10 inches which was a surprise as we were expecting 2 inches. Roads closed and schools closed.

I don't think we will see sunshine today.

Sadly the rain started this morning so it is disappearing although not quickly. We are suppose to get more Thursday night.

Temps are dropping here to about 19 F/-7 C so this snow is going to stay. We definitely will have a White Christmas.

The sun came out later and I missed taking pictures.

Someone tried a run down the lot next door but maybe found that the drop off at the end is a little scary.

Last week we had a lot of fog but when the sunshine came out, the view was great. I zoomed in for this one.

The next morning the fog was here and there. We had a frost overnight.

Our first snow of the season. It probably won't last past the afternoon.
Snow on the stacks. Pile outside the fence is the red alder campinspecter was getting in September

Red alder on top under the tarp and hemlock on the bottom. Yellow Cedar is holding the tarp down

Western Hemlock it is called. Western hemlock
Once it is dry, (one year), it is one of the best firewood we have. Douglas Fir is the other one.
