    Another thing that Grinds my gears is the story of Cinderella, where was the fairy godmother when her mom died? Or when her father remarried a wicked step mother? Or when her father died? Like really you couldn't look out for her then? What kind of cracker jack box magic wears off at midnight anyways? :headbang::loco: :crazy:

    We tried to keep prepackaged pancake mix but since we do not use it much, it gets old and off taste.
    Wife found recipe on line. Much better fresh, no waste.
    As far as syrup, always likes Vermont Made brand, but they must have changed the recipe over the years (just like chips ahoy, yuck).
    Now its straight boiled hardwood juice.

    I like butter and jam/preserves/jelly on my pancakes and waffles and french toast. Hubby and kiddo drench in syrup. And yes real syrup, not high fructose maple flavored. "Would you like some pancake with that syrup?"

    Add crepes.

    I know right!! That's our word!!

    So anyways, who comes up with the idea of a glass shoe?!?!? Like seriously, that is just asking for trouble. I hope you don't need to stomp on a spider cause that will send you directly to the ER. Not to mention why does the "cracker jack magic" not wear off on the glass shoe? Shouldn't the glass shoe turn back into a regular shoe at midnight? Man it gets me fired up!!

    Reading this made my mouth water. There was an old timer near me that sells home made dutch apple jam. Best thing I've ever tasted on a crepe/Swedish pancake. He retired now, so I bought every bottle I could. Kinda don't wanna eat it/ kinda do wanna eat it. Its a terrible paradox.

    Nothing inferred wildwest A few years back, we were having breakfast with nephews family and his boys saw how much butter I was using................. :jaw: :bug: Their Mom cautioned them immediately and warned them "don't even think about it!" They replied with "Uncle is using a lot of butter" I said its not butter, its frosting.


    Eric VW is quite right. I have been cutting back on the butter since the BP is always spiking! :handshake:(or is that due to the situation of our nation?)
