That I can do, our record in our house since when we came back to here was -22, as I seem to remember, we fired the stove hard that night. My truck which is always outdoors, was not to keen on being started that morning. The motor oil was jello, and I heard engine parts making noises I hadn't heard before:picard:

-15F and 64F. -29F wind chill. Just chucked a stringy Elm split on the coals for a little coal reduction exercise. Stove is W_O and the flames are dancing. Blowers cranked and the heat is migrating nicely. Coffee and fresh baked Wild berry muffins are taking the chill off. Mmmmmm

I hear ya on that, yesterday woke up to -23 with a -36 breeze. My everyday s10 said nope, my other truck popped right off though, I always let them run at least a good 15mins before heading out.

Tell this year my main daily driver and work truck was a Dodge V10 getting a 488 cubic inch engine into turnover in the minus 20s, it really didn't like that. Thankfully that one had a block heater

When I lived in Northern Maine we did not winterize like Alaska does. Here we use a battery tender(trickle charger no more than 5 watts) block heater and heater pad, pig tail. The pan heater goes on the transmission add blocking/reducing the air the the radiator. My Cummins will fire right up with no complaints. D6DECDDD-FE12-4C26-A899-C2031C84589B.png

    From 32*-0* =10minutes, 0*-15* = 15 minutes, -15* to -20*=20 minutes, -20* to -30* = 25 minutes etc. It’s my Saturday if I had to go into work @-46 I would warm up 30-40 minutes.

It got to double digits above zero! Yay!

Every night it's been a couple below zero, but no double digits below zero yet.

Ash and locust in the stove today.

Rope The thermometer you display is showing wind chill or air temp or both. I see some small numbers under the large number in the middle.:handshake:

62 here and the tree frogs are chirping. I thought I heard them yesterday, but I definitely heard them this afternoon. Filled the basement with wood for the upcoming vortex plunge.
62 and still burning wood
