I hear you. I just started back up again and noticed most of my cigars are a lot stronger than I remembered . Starting to order Medium strength now
yea... I was thinking about that... but 80 degrees upstairs vs. 55 degrees down stairs.... 80 degrees wins tonight anyways....
It has been months since I have purchased any cigars. I am smoking a whole lot less and have observed a lot of complaints about shipping/customer service on the auction site. Well......... halftime of the game comes along and I refuse to watch those performances. I log on to cbid and find some mild cigars that will replenish that end of the coolidor at some unbelievable lower than normal prices! Hopefully, there'll be no issues regarding shipping!
La Palina maduro for a ride I took today. This is number 6 of 20 that I bought some time ago Always good. I checked and it was over two years ago that I got them.
I used to live in NYC and I brought a few cartons over the line for some co-workers when I went back "home". This was back in 2011. They are stupid expensive.
I have no idea what a pack is going for around these parts. I guess you'll never hear a cig smoker complain about gasoline prices, huh?
Pulled out one from the Humi today to have on the deck in the 70° weather. It was too nice a day to pass this up. Shade grown CT wrapper DE Undercrown. It’s a nice medium smoke that was consistent until I let it go out a bit past the half way mark. Figured I deserved it after bucking up part of a tree that fell at the back of the property.
Wow! After only one week rest in the coolidor, I too a chance and brought one along for the return ride (2 hrs). Very good! Chvymn99 I owe you some thanks since you are the one that mentioned how good they are. I should have pulled the trigger on these over a year ago..... The only negative comment I have is the residual after smell lingering on the clothing. Reminded me of decades ago when smoking cigarettes.
I'm glad you liked them ... Its always hard to recommend to someone else, as everyones taste are a bit different....
Had one of Drew Estate's Nica Rustica the other day. I like these a lot. A medium to full cigar with leather and coffee notes.
I had one of those while in the Black Hills back in 2018. Bought it from a cigar shop in Deadwood S.D. It was awesome! As soon as I got home, I ordered a box. They have not been quite the same but are still OK. So much depends on the time, place and conditions for a good cigar......
