    Shes still got the machine marks on the piston , so it’s fix an oiling issue ,and some carb work is all it needs .

    Last weekend I readhttps://firewoodhoardersclub.com/forums/threads/easy-ms-362cm-muffler-mod.9426/ thread by "lukem". I opened up the exhaust, she runs much better and is much louder.

    Cleaned up some Ash myself.
    One tank of gas in the ms170 made 3 loads like this.
    Played with the bigger saws also, cut up some rounds behind my neighbors house while the ground was frozen.
    Left some long length, was running out of daylight fast. Did get them home though.

    Was running the ms170 and ms271 this morning and the 72+cc Jonsred this evening. Boy what a difference in power and handling. Really liking the 2 used ones I picked up a while back.

    Finally got all the pieces in . So , I put her together today . Put about 300 in parts . But, that’s a bunch less than a new one . She runs well . Gonna put some time on it . The send it north to get some sausage . 0CF065BE-228A-48A9-8480-D64B4BD0F07C.jpeg

    Actually it was still leaking a bit of oil from when the dealer started it.

    Kevin should be able to confirm this, but I do believe it is a Stihl MS462C with a modification to the air filter cover to enhance airflow.
