Anyone change their snow blower with an impeller upgrade kit?

    I did it to my old MTD and I am going to do it to my new to me JD1032D soon, It makes a huge difference. The wet slushy snow is where it really stands out as an improvement.

    Is it easy to install or do you have to take the blower all apart?

    I didn't have to on my old one, but I haven't looked at this Deere that close, I do't think I will have to though, Drill 2 holes in each impeller blade and bolt them on.

    I was wondering if you could get a drill in there to do that? Did you use a 90 Deg angle adapter?

    I took the chute off and went in from the top. I looked at my Deere closer last night and it looks like I can do the same thing.

    Are you using a pre-manufactured kit? I saw a video where the guy used old tire wall. That made a lot of sense to me.
