The county has been trimming and clearing trees under the overhead utilities for awhile. I drive a school bus, and have seen the crews out there daily with boom trucks and chippers for a couple of weeks. Occasionally, they drop trees, and/or leave the cuttings on the public right of way.

The problem is, no one around here drives past a pile of free firewood...

Well, I got back to the bus-barn, finished my paperwork, and made haste back to "my pile" fully expecting to see someone already there (even just 20 minutes later)...

    IT WAS STILL THERE!!![IMG][IMG]

WAY TO GO! I know the feeling about losing a score, but there is so much of it going on here i can pick and choose. What type of wood Mtnbikerfred?
Where do you usually cut wood from?
