How goes it boys, new to FHC. From the northern tip of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Brought the Husq 460 R out today for a stretch. Went and began tidying up some Grey Birch & Sugar maple to add to my hoard of Red Oak and Ash today. -13C with the 70K winds off the ocean. How was your day?
Welcome to FHC easyburning ! You were a little cooler than we were today (12 F) but I'll bet that wind off the Atlantic really cooled it off more. Nice job on the wood
Thats great easyburning Some nice looking firewood there. Welcome to the FHC If you love to learn and love to laugh, you came to the right place. My day was great, thank you. I was out cutting all afternoon. Upper teens (farenheit) here with wind chills below zero.
Welcome easyburning . My day was ok from 8 - 4, then when I got home and hand split some black locust in the brisk evening air, it turned great.
Nice mess of logs you got there easyb. Welcome to saw addicts anonymous aka FHC. I prefer the season when chips stick to my arms
Looks like you ghost your work cut out for you! Great looking pile of logs! Welcome to the forum. Good group of people here
On a good friends property. Hes going to be building a house on this plot. I lucked out and get to harvest all the lumber he cut down.
Welcome to FHC. You'll like it here. We like beer, dogs and pics. Lots of good, knowable people here that are willing to share.
Welcome easy! I had a friend offer the same to me when he built a house less than 2 miles away from out place. I'm still staying warm from the wood. Hoard on!
Yes, its nice. And I live in a very small community. Im hoping it catches wind that I will come and collect wood from lots being cleared. Id like to get into the fuelwood and small time milling business in the next few years.
