And that is why I chose not to do the Real ID last time, and just went with mail in. I only fly once every coupld of years anyway so it is no big deal to carry my passport when needed. I gotta justify the hassle I went thru to get the passport by having it good for something.

Well, a taste of that is coming. It was 8* when I got up 45 minutes ago, and now down to 7. The high is supposed to get in lower to mid teens (in my area - you are probably warmer and your widget shows 14*). Wind has cranked up too, which is a big factor for my house.

Even though I now have my fancy NG boiler and use 25% of the pellets I used to, today will be the day I switch to running the P61A 24/7 through the weekend, Room Temp manual....7* here this morning.

Yeah, I'm on the coast too so if there is any seabreeze, I don't get the severe cold. However, it got down to 9 last night. It was 11 when I woke up and I saw a high of 22 today. The wind was pretty stiff for a while too. I had the thermostat set at 67 and the stove didn't even struggle. It even shut off for a bit today. Burned about a bag in 24 hours.

NG for heat. Avg. winter monthly bill is around $125-145.

At first I was like, wow - that is expensive. Then I realized I was comparing that to my electric bill (that goes up between $20 - $50 with the stoves running. Add in the cost of pellets at about $200/ton (average cost after TSC coupon use, CL & FB finds) and yep, that NG is not too bad.

Just needed to get the coffee to kick in - waking up at 1AM was not my friend this morning.

NG historically has always been less expensive than pellets. And no work. Since you have propane, pellets are the way to go for now....there will come a day B when you won’t want to schlep those bags.....

Yeah I bring in 10 bags a week from the shed to the house. Have to stack them by the front door then bring them in (limit the time front door is open) so it's 20 bags cause I pick up each one twice.
