Anybody use them? What brand style is a good choice? Our laundry room is in the far back corner of the house (farthest from woodstove). We currently have a space heater back there for when it's real cold outside but I would feel safer with a infrared heater, and the possible electric savings would be nice. Like most everything else there are so many options out there it's kind of overwhelming when you get looking. I'm just wondering if you all have any first hand experience with them.
We have used the oil filled radiators in the past. Worked well and in my opinion the safest option for portable electric space heating. You could set the thermostat on it as well as put it in a timer so it warms up only when you plan to use the space.. Are you looking for comfort or concerned about water pipes freezing?
