Was busy last week.

Started off working on hauling this stack home. One of my old produce stand customers offered it to me. 2 miles up the road. Worked out to less than $100 a cord. Hickory, locust, oak,cherry and some hard maple Got some below freezing temps midweek and went to another place with the tractor and pulled dead ash trees out and cut up a dump trailer load.(no pics of the load sorry). Got a call Saturday to come get some ash. Cut another trailer load and called it a week.

the optics of that pic...looks like the stack is about to fall over. sweet haul tho!

 

After I took out the first row I didn't park as close.

 

Nice sized logs to work with.

 

There is a huge double leader cherry that I haven't tackled yet. Don't want to mess with it by myself. Stihl has the rootball attched
