I have been noticing this trend for a couple of months now. Weekends pick up, but not close to where it used to be a few years ago. The weekdays are entirely quiet! Heck, I may as well be working. (I really didn't mean that; I don't know what came over me!!!)
Maybe there's a storm brewing, getting ready to unleash it's fury? Yeah, it's been pretty quiet, for the most part.
tomorrow is gonna be cold here, which I will take. I needed to fill the wood bin last weekend, but it poured all day Saturday, so the ground was too soft. I totally emptied it yesterday, so I will load it back up again tomorrow. Before I forget again, I should take a trip to Midwinter s house and pick up the shoulder wood she put aside for me too.
Been busy too. Spending time with family, new dog (she likes to spend time outside like I do) and indoor winter home repair projects before the outdoor ones start up again. The work thing gets in the way...
The walk was colder than I thought it would be. Dang the wind chill or real feel or whatever you want to call it! Couldn't wait to change direction and get out of the wind. Didn't visit with any wolves in the neighborhood this morning; instead, I did a complete shovel job with the exception of the truck....need to sweep that off and then shovel around it. Going to build a wood fire in the eldorado this morning and then watch "the Glen Miller Story". I know. It'll be an exciting morning here.
