Got quite a bit of saw time in this weekend. Did all small limbs with my 10" makita 18v top handle saw then switched to the stihl 462 with a 30" bar for the buckin. Had some help today to finish clean up and roll em to the pile. Those big pieces are 40 across. Pretty nuts to have a 30" bar and stil have to switch sides to finish a cut. Nuts for me anyways. Still need to get the other half down and cut up, but aint happening today, my back is on fire.
Finally got everything cleaned up and split. Stacking will come eventually. Do you all think i should leave the rest of the tree or get it down before the leaves come. No property damage will occur regardless of which way it falls. Seems pretty solid minus the middle. Thought about just cutting off the dead limb and trimming the split up and leaving it be.
