    I think the prime bulb helps. Most other saw don't have this.

    Of the 3 of them only the smaller CS310 has a primer.

    My bad, I thought most of them had the primer bulb. My Echo backpack blower does, but so does my Stihl BR600.

    The larger ones have a decompression valve on them but not used much.

    I don’t know why one starts easier than another, but I appreciate saws that start easy. I mostly use Stihls and think the 462 may be the easiest starting saw I’ve ever used. Other notable mentions are 044 and 460. The worst I ever used is a 441.
