We took a nice crisp January day run at it. Ash and maple.

Beautiful weather to be after it. Ground was pretty frozen until I was done then got in a little mud. Ran the Husky 455 and the little Echo.

I could have cut and just picked it up later...but decided to work around the house instead.

it is fairly decent for an 89. I reworked it about 8 or 9 years ago, used the best parts of my 91 and the 89 plus a few new parts.

    Nice load LP!! :)

I haven't been cutting this month, mostly being lazy I guess and lack of storage space in my stacks.
Weather is pretty warm though.. I hear it's going to get colder soon.. Waiting for early spring to go at it again...
I have almost no ash and never really burned much.. Crazy since it's all around me...just not on my property.

Ground is pretty soft by me at the moment...

crazy how that works, I had a wood lot I cut out of that had no ash or oak, farmer bought the land adjoining it and it was full of both.

Well, between 87-91 there were practically zero changes beyond colors.

    Nice work LP!

Around here, we've got enough snow that it makes cutting wood just a little bit difficult. 5-8" on the ground after it has settled.

I think I'll have to make some time this week to get in the woods and haul a load.
