The new pug pup discovered the stove today. Learned how to climb onto the hearth too. This guy is about 9 weeks old.
Very cute. I like pugs. I have a friend who had one, one that was very overweight, and appropriately named Diesel. He lived a long time. My 9 month old lab burnt a couple tail hairs on my insert a while back. You can't see it, but when you pet his tail there's a few "crusty" hairs that are not as soft or smooth. They learn, eventually.
With our last pug we had to ration his food. They are little pigs and will eat themselves into unhealthy obesity. 18-20 lbs. Really helps with their breathing and heat tolerance.
Pup looks ornery Highbeam My inlaws have a pug...goes something like 22-24 lbs I think...doesn't eat his "special diet" dog food prescribed by the vet real well, but I blame that on my FIL sneaking him table scraps...he is a pickier eater than the dog is!
