Richelle came with sister Kenzie to spend the night. Richelle helped load the overnight boiler wood.
We stopped by a Chinese market, and picked up some items for her egg drop soup and dumplings.

You must be single, or sleep in you own bed alone.

 

Since I don't use deodorant unless I'm going out in public (which is rare since I'm working from home), I do. And shaving the pits just doesn't work well without a bunch of water and soap.

Even being single and sleeping alone, a shower is a must to start my day's activities. The cats don't care, but I really don't enjoy my own stink. Plus, the shower gets me in the frame of mind to actually do something instead of laze around all day.

 

LOL I was just kidding. My wife would have none of that. I shower when I get around to it though. Might be in the morning, might be late afternoon depending on what I am going that day.

I was able to get a few things done yesterday between my laziness. I cleaned up a smaller size tree from a past windstorm. I brought down 12 bales of hay and stacked them for wife. I fed and watered animals once for her too. I brought in a little firewood. And went for a walk all through the trails in the woods with my wife. And that was about it.

Today I will clean up a bigger White Pine that came down at the bottom of the hill by the Pond. Too bad the wind brought it down, it was a nice tree. And we will walk the trails again. And maybe I’ll do some more organizing in the barn workshop. My bench and garage has had a full cleaning and organizing while on vacation. Barn workshop has had about 1/2 the job done so far.

 

I like that. Well said.

Now that the holiday crap eating is over, its time to get back on the track I started before covid. I put way too much weight on sitting at home and baking with Charlotte all the time. Time for a diet.

 

Just because you relax now and then doesn't mean you're lazy.

When your life starts becoming filled with excuses of "I should have....I need to..... I'm going to.....I have to.....I'm waiting for a friend to....." and on and on, well ........
