My wife wanted to go shooting this afternoon. I brought the Shield 9mm and S&W 442 air weight in .38. She really liked the shield, the 442, not so much, said it hurt her hand. Stings mine a little too.

Her shots were a little spread out at first, but were tightening up nicely by the time we called it a day. Great afternoon spending time with Mrs. GrJfer and slinging a little lead. IMG_20140719_181801_337.jpg

Tell her that's just fine shooting for being unfamiliar with those two.
Anytime the wife has GSR on her hands and I'm still around to talk about it, ..is a good day. :handshake:

That's a good way to spend time with the spouse.

The wife really likes to shoot pistols. She has a 9mm shield and Springfield XDS 45. She can shoot the 45 better than the 9mm for some reason.

I've cut a couple trees that I think someone did that to them.

I think he just leaned it against the tree for the pic. I think I see staple marks on the edge of the target where it was stapled to a frame.

Yes it was on a target frame at the range. The tree only served the purpose of a photo opt prop. Not to mention this is FHC and we all like to see trees.

I've shoot both as well, and found the XDS .45 to be very pleasant. It defies the small package 45acp in terms of recoil and accuracy.

I'm more accurate with the xds also.
