Closed up shop for vacation during the holidays & we've had some nice weather, so off we went. 20201229_103340.jpg 20201031_094642.jpg Pic above is from about a month ago. Notice the Poplar stack on the left.
20201229_103404.jpg Poplar was on the stringers that are bare, about 10 cord. Sold & delivered a couple & Ken & I split the rest. Working in the Oak now, down to about 5 cord there. Gonna have to get back in the woods & re stock logs.

1949 M hooked to the splitter & if you look behind the van in the one pic you'll see the left rear of the H. Other two are a Massey Harris 44 special & TYM T390.

Big splits. Are those 24" long? Make up cords pretty quick that way. Looks like some good working conditions (no mud) which is a plus in my book Do you sell a lot of 24" splits?

Yep 24" for our boilers. We do 16" for customers with stoves. Big splits hold a long fire.

Got a little splitting done myself Monday and Tuesday. I thought I was done for the year with everything under 14" of snow but we had a big melt on Christmas. So, I decided to get out there and finish up what I had bucked to length. 24" stock here too for our furnace. Did about 5 hours Monday and finished up with 3 hours yesterday. Today, the feet go up for a bit...
