    Happy Birthday Midwinter! Go for the splitter, but keep the hand tools ready. I held off til 63, but there comes a time when power equipment is cheaper than replacing joints.

    That was Saturday morning, before I left for work, so I had to LEAVE that nice warm fire. It was 22° this morning. Haven't seen the teens in quite a few years, we have had the lower 20's though.

    Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Fell asleep in the recliner by the wood stove, Miz Carol was on the couch, so I guess we stayed warm...lol...woke up about 5.
