    Happy Birthday Midwinter! Go for the splitter, but keep the hand tools ready. I held off til 63, but there comes a time when power equipment is cheaper than replacing joints.

    That was Saturday morning, before I left for work, so I had to LEAVE that nice warm fire. It was 22° this morning. Haven't seen the teens in quite a few years, we have had the lower 20's though.

    Low 30's and overcast, but dry. Sounds perfect to cut up a number of limbs and get them stacked. I'll also split some rounds.

    Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Fell asleep in the recliner by the wood stove, Miz Carol was on the couch, so I guess we stayed warm...lol...woke up about 5. Got to deliver another load of oak this morning and split/stack more hickory, then nap time. Yep, nite shift again this week. But I will be off New Year's Day weekend. FB_IMG_1602418143611.jpg
