We were in that really bad zone as well.
If we did get it last night.. I slept through it.
Does not appear it was any where near as severe as predicted.
My son in CT said they worried they were going to lose power.
It is supposed to rain all day, but no big winds..

    Dan

    Oh...
    merry Christmas to everyone.

We've had rain all day but nothing torrential and the wind is nowhere the force that was forecasted.

I call bull crap. How would you know,in the south?I go by the info I get from the nasty areas, from professional snowplow people,Minnisota, wisconson and
Oh,bull crap. All stuff washes off, after a while. When wax washes off,no residue is left, and the same with most oils.Wisconson,Michigan and Minnesota have been using it for quite some years, and has become prevalent in Maine.Do you remember we used to "undercoat" cars and trucks? Trapped all the moisture, made them rust out faster! We can learn from the high humidity northern states.

Here, we had major winds, 50 mph gusts, Flooding River, trees over and power outages.

Ended up with 3" if rain as measured by a flat bottom bowl on the ramp railing.
    :hair:

Some of our rivers aren't supposed to peak until today. I know there were some road washouts in Washington, NH - a town that abuts my town. I'll have to pay attention to the river I pass over to get into town and see how high it gets.

And I call "no memory".....I lived in NY for 64 years. Bar & chain or that & a combo of wax will last 10x longer than fluid film.

I bought my wife a cordless vacuum cleaner. I thought I was a goner. :hair: Been hiding out the last couple a days to avoid her. But she used it to clean up around the xmas tree and actually liked it.

I might have created a monster as technically now she owns power tools. :headbang:
