We're having the Prime Rib too but not the shrimp, this is a picture from last year.

Christmas Eve we'll have some Braciole with spaghetti sauce and pasta.

I’m pretty good friends with someone that owns a scallop dragger and see him every month. Scallops are in season now. Also does lobster when the lobster are inshore, about 8 months out of the year. You want oysters, clams, shrimp, haddock, ground fish or crabs? He can get those from local people he works with. Don’t be afraid to ask. A little dry ice and a cooler they ship good.

did I mention this stuff is boat price AKA CHEAP.

I picked up a turkey breast for Christmas as well. Wife is going to make a baked ziti, and eggplant parm, so the turkey will be cooked on the Weber Kettle. Bought my wife some canned gravy, the gravy out of the bird ends up really smoky, which I love, but she isnt a fan of.

We're making a baked stuffed shrimp for Christmas eve at the inlaws.

I'm 24 hours into about 3 days of downtime after the neutering, and I'm going crazy. I feel perfectly fine, which is what adds to my frustration. Dr told me not to lift more than 8bs for a week, so I cant even load my stove by myself!

My wifes Grandmother used to do the seven fishes. Now, its a little of everything at my inlaws. Lots of seafood based dishes as a nod to Nana, but not just seafood anymore.

So now when I release the up/down lever on the forklift, even with a fairly heavy pallet on, or hit a bump when empty, the forks (and attached pallet when applicable) bounce up and down for a couple seconds, with a range of several inches vertical movement. I've taken up wearing safety glasses just in case something blows.

Brine it in 1 part salt, 1 part brown sugar, and 16 parts water (by volume)....a few bay leaves, some pepper, and garlic.....for 24 hours. Roast at 325 until it hits 160 at the thickest part. It will be really good.

Oh, no worries, I checked all 4 blinkers and they are full, I just need a new little round metal thing.

I kid you NOT, the grocery order I put into wally world earlier I put blinker and it auto fills in other searches. Seriously, go try it. Blinker fluid comes up in the search box. I was being funny above, but really?!? I should have done a screen shot  :rofl:

We got a standing rib roast 4 something a pound at shaws , hannaford has it for 5.99 I think. Either way, that is a cheap price for prime rib. Doing beef tenderloin for Christmas here, the prime rib is for new year’s.
