Regardless, the key is to keep the snow off them before they're used. Includes driving on driveways, walking on walkways, you get the pictures.

It is so much easier to remove snow that way. Heck, even shoveling a roof, just section off a "piece of cake" from the snow laden roof.....before you walk across it!

Walking or driving on snow in the driveway or any walkway that will be shovelled, plowed/ snowblowed is forbidden around here. The dogs don't listen to this, but I tend to keep them inside until I get it cleared.

The voice of experience, right there! :handshake:

There have been many times over the years that I have left the vehicle on the road so I could clear the driveway and then pull into the garage.

Growing up, we used to keep la shovel outside at the door. One of Dad's rules was to clear the snow away (shovel it) and the come into the house.

Its great to get the issue figured out! I used it to haul wood, but also to push snow. I need to get to Midwinter 's house soon to pick up a load of wood she brought home for me, so it is definitely needed!

Don't worry, it's fine where it is.

Cut some fresh pike for "poor man's lobster" AKA fish boil. Served with wild rice and corn.

    This one got a pass.

Still waiting on winter. We have ice, but it is still too warm to safely get to all the good areas that are available around here.

Some 3-1 oil wouldn’t hurt mine since their not squealing yet right? I suspect a good cleaning will improve the airflow.

I keep a needle stuck in a piece of foam in my tool box with a set of picks.

There are a couple of dents in the roof that will need to be taken care of.

Looks like I will need to get it towed since I think it is illegal to drive with something like this in front of the driver. Will have to check with insurance to make sure they will cover it..
