I thought it was going to be a bust (more rain) in my area, but I got about a good 6"-8". Awesome snowman and snowball snow, we had some good fun last night with the kids! Haven't had much snow here for two years now. This morning its all iced over, they even closed schools again, wait, what, err I mean doing it virtually....
Going out to play with shovels...dear wife and I (and dawg). Fluffy light stuff this time. Hoping for moar, but is more or less done. Sca
Towns near the PA NY border are reporting 40". Wish we got that here...I had about 4" before it changed over. Was hoping to do some plowing.
Hard to say exactly as quite a bit of drifting. But the average here appears to be 10-11”. Some drifts as high as 18”, other areas bare ground almost. Spent about 45 minutes playing....I mean snow blowing this morning. I’m gonna try out another tractor in a little bit.
Is like being in a snow globe outside right now. If it keeps up till 4 like they say we might make the predicted 18”.
Welcome to the world of even the weather people are sensationalizing the weather. I'm going to leave it there to avoid going to far into politics.
Between Murphy and the EPA fuel I can't win. Big blower( 36" 15hp) started leaking fuel from carb, then something locked up started burning belts- nothing jammed in the business end. Medium size unit ( 40+ years old) head gasket started leaking, Little Toro single stage ate the electric starter gear. Everything seemed fine the weekend before-trying to be a bit proactive- didn't work. That Toro has been well used and abused some ten + years old. Thought I got all issues resolved over the summer- guess not. Oh, and one plastic shovel split down the middle of the blade.
Lucky. All we got was rain here I dont think it has snowed here since the first day of spring back in 2018.
