Well, It's been going great! I got the stove up to a new high temp and got the secondaries to pop off. It was a thing of beauty.
Thanks to all you guys, I am sufficiently paranoid of my chimney and keep watching it. Its going well though. I think I will clean out at the end of the month and go on a two week schedule unless I don't get anything out. Draft is good and everything is running well. Having the mirror and a decent flashlight helps monitor it.

No, very busy day at the office I did not have time to call. I did not get confirmation the thermodisk has been shipped. Possibly different departments?

it’s a 275 mile trip to my house I’ll be happy to see it by the end of the week. I’ll need to get a couple sections of pipe and a damper. I’ll be keeping the pipe for the beast intact Incase I need to put it back in commission.

Did the freight company contact you to set up a time for delivery?

Yeah, they typically call the day before to line up an appointment and possibly discuss how you plan to get it off the truck. The place I bought it from also sent me a couple emails with tracking numbers and info. Mine shipped from Indiana to Iowa in two days (picked up Wed afternoon and dropped off Friday morning). Typically unless you go cross country, that is pretty standard time. Across country or certain areas might be three day shipping. However those times are for the big companies like Fedex. I don't know how quick it would be if it were a smaller econo company.

I'm cheap. They wanted to charge me $75 for a lift gate. For that money, I can engineer a way to get it off the trailer.
I did this by sliding the stove on a scaffolding plank onto my snowmobile trailer.

What are the high STT's so far? Have you stuffed er full N/S yet? Looking like it's performing as expected. Cats look comatose so it must be doing good!

NVhunter your pic is brochure quality. I'd send that to the WS home office. Very nice indeed.

    STT's?
I noticed since burning in the new stove, my cutting is a bit smaller than I thought. My splits tend to be around 12 - 14 inches long, so I've only been loading N/S. I haven't stuffed it yet though. Still edging that top end higher and higher. My wife has gotten a few headaches with the curing smell, so I'm easing into it a bit. I got it cruising at a really good zone though. We were nice and toasty yesterday.
