Mom came home, so glad for that. Storms are on the doorstep, time to batten down the hatches.

Alright. Day off. But, I have to watch the littlest one half of the day and then her older brother and her for the other half. Until Mom gets home from work anyway. So it will be down to camp and do some things around the place while the kids play in the yard and camp. Weather is nice here now and should be for the next few days! Sunny and 70s.:D

Clouds are still coming through here Stinny but they are moving fast and breaking up and the sun is out in between. And I would think it would be heading your way.

This will be close enough for the camp railings. All recycled pressure treated. Next will be stick building some rafters on the floor in the garage for a roof over the porch. But that will be another day. I need to get cutting the grass at home!

Looks like it has always been there. It must feel good to be able to re-purpose the lumber.

Gonna try to make some cabinet door frames for a built-in china cabinet tonight. I'll get the center of the door fitted with etched glass and light the inside of the cabinet with LED strips. Should look pretty slick when its done.

Hopefully I can get all the lumber planed and routed tonight and put it all together the next couple nights.

Yes. That lumber was part of the old deck that had been there for about 20 years. It was taken off by my father and a brother several years back in order to fix a problem with drainage and the basement wall. This should serve us well for a few years until we can afford to build a new porch. We hope to build a pressure treated porch the full length of the side of the camp, roofed of course, and have it all screened in. But that will take some saving of some money!

Cut all the grass at the house yesterday afternoon and early evening. Good amount of rain the other day and now sun for several days coming. So I cut it short this time to try to buy myself a few extra days. Today will involve a little work and a little rest and relaxation.

Today with the help of my dad, we got two poles set for the next section of shed. Gonna be 2ft shorter than the first section because I ran out of good 20ft lumber. Still had some good 18ft pieces though. :)

That's the tough part. I always felt good about getting that part of a build project done. No telling what you're gonna run into when yer diggin.
