Yeah died in driveway in front of garage. Would not re start... re checking modules and fuel pump in AM
with how straight the numbers are with each other and how spotless the truck is, I can believe it. At the very least she's definitely an extremely well cared for, garage kept truck. The 305 may be no powerhouse, but if I had that truck, she'd only be out on nice days and wouldn't be hauling anything worth talking about. Be a crime to beat that truck up now.
My wife "moved" my two firewood tote bags about a month ago. She now has no clue what she did with them. Ive searched everywhere, and cant find them either. I'm sure that once I buy the replacements they will show up.
I have had the main 4 gauge wire to the starter corrode ( at the starter) to point it would not carry current. Naturally it died out in the boonies. Sneaky one was the fuel pump ( in gas tank) there are no codes for that either ( 1999 series). Depending on the year of the truck it could be the fuel control module it is mounted on the cross frame member in front of the spare tire- $60, the rear of it which is its ground point rots out and then the guts short out- this is a known issue. In the 99 trucks it was inside the tank so you had to drop tank and replace assembly $350. ( or cut through floor of the bed to get at it). 11v is min for computer to function. At 200k on a 5.4 if the timing chain tension system has never been replaced that will also get a no start or fire a couple cylinders and die .
The power just dropped out for about 45 minutes. No idea why, but it's back on. In that short while it was out, 99 lbs made a fire in the Eldorado (basement stove). I was getting the mail and then the buckets to hand bail the sump pump if needed. Hey, the snowplow finally rumbled past the house!
We were watching Wheel of Fortune, then some old dude thought he needed to interrupt the broadcast and we now have to listen to his rambling. We didn't even get 1 puzzle in to the show.
Nope. He can't even say what he wants to say without bumbling it up. Non MD "doctor" Jill, I've got no real opinion on, other than she's some old lady.
We were able to watch the entire WOF show here no problems. Except for the three contestants that just couldn't come up with the final answer.....no, it not "new pair of sun boots"
