I was on the leading edge of popularity when I bought mine and no shops had even seen one at the time. I wanted the desert tan and they couldn't even get one. I ended up buying online and using the local store for the transfer. My tastes are pretty well out of the mainstream so that's what I generally have to do. Most times I go in there now, I'm usually just greeted with "what do you have coming this time"

The grip to me mimics the 1911 angle
    Feels like a para ordnance
Or sti double stack to me.
Very accurate with his handload 200gr cast bullet's
    Nice trigger.
I have a glock 30s and this is more comfortable in the grip area.

About a year ago I bought a Boker Plus, Strike, auto knife with a D2 drop point, semi flat grind blade. Last week after losing it numerous times I have failed to find it in the usual places, like dirty clothes hamper or the couch. Sooo I just got another Boker in the mail today. This time a Kalashnikov auto, with a drop point flat grind blade CTS-XHP steel with a "stonewashed" finish. Indeed it is actually stonewashed because I know what parts look like when they come out of a commercial stone vibratory tumbler.

The other one had a black finish and I quickly learned not to do that again.
I was somewhat unhappy with the D2 only because I do not believe it was heat treated correctly and would lose the edge rather quickly. My new blade appears on paper to be tougher, and harder so time will tell. I do like the blade geometry better already and it has a good deal less mass because of the full grind, with the same approximate 3 1/2" length.

This brings me to the reason I'm here. When I picked up the package, it felt a little odd and I couldn't figure out what I had gotten. Well surprise, it came in a little 30rnd mag! Awesome! I was in that very industry of paper box machinery for 15 years until they went bust and told me I didn't work there anymore.

I really enjoyed that job more than any other machinery I have built, and could talk shop for hours, but suffice to say it is a handmade box and nothing that comes off of a machine. But a cool little box that will find a home full of something in one of my safes.

Some purchased parts, some scrounged from the dump and my collection. The shaft adapter should be here tomorrow so I can finish it.

Close enough to see how it works, just needs a bit of fine tuning.

The grip with the support hand thump wrapping over the back of the wrist, will have slide bite, as the left thumb get lazy because there is no kick it will rise until it gets high enough to slide contact. Try and reinforce the thumbs forward grip, have her run the support thumb parallel to the barrel like she is pointing at the target with her thumbs.

But why? Perhaps not readily apparent, the case is rotating so heat is applied evenly. Two torches would definitely speed things up but I'm not in any particular hurry.

    Dude
I showed her multiple times proper grip technique
She reverted to revolver grip when she was shooting
I told her it's on her if she gets slide bite
Her fingers are so small is the only reason it didn't happen.
