Interesting. For those old enough to remember the 1980s, the day Pres Reagan was shot, after hours of emergency, the Secret Service realized they'd lost track of Mrs Reagan. She was found, exhausted, sleeping in bed, holding tight to Ronnie's shirt.
Has been a few days since I checked the thread, and we seem to be getting hit hard. I'm probably not the only one to be offering regular prayers for these intentions; known or unknown; so keep posting.
He can count every hair on your head.
He knows when a sparrow falls from the sky.
He reads FHC.

Praying for BrianK's heart, and Gasifier's MIL. Who needs covid, we have enough trouble as it is.

 

Continued prayer for Walt, Dennis and Judy, and Brian.
May the Lord bring them Peace, Comfort and Healing.

 

I am sorry to hear that Brian. I can't like that. You and your family are in my prayers. Hoping for good news tomorrow.

So very sorry about your MIL physical and mental decline. I pray for her comfort as she ends her life's journey. Kids are strong. Yes, these events have a lasting impact. Answer the questions as simply as you can without offering up more than what they asked for. That is how they will handle this the best. In time, they will put it all together.

 

Dennis, this is the first I've read of this going on. So very sorry this is happening to Judy and you. I know what it is like to be in the hospital and isolated. I was in just sort of full week with no visitors. Just phone calls. But was too sick to really care. I know you must be ill with worry. My thoughts and prayers for Judy and you and your family. I did read that you were getting the OK to make a visit. Lets hope this works out well for you. Take care my friend.

 

Thank you all for your prayers! I got a really good deep night’s sleep last night and actually felt a lot better today, but I’m still getting short of breath far too easily.

My heart cath is tomorrow morning at 9:00.

I’ll either be there through the afternoon then go home, or they’ll keep me overnight if they’re able to place any stents.
