walt , glad that you're not worse off than you are. As has been said, things can go wrong even when we do everything right. I too have learned much watching you work, & hope I get to see more next May. Prayers for speedy & full recovery & patience my friend.
Sorry to hear about your ordeal. At least you’re still upright and drawing air. I know at least 3 experienced cutters who weren’t so lucky. Rest and recover friend!!!
That was difficult to read. Yes, it could have been worse, but a lot for you to go through. Hang in there good sir and let the community know if there's anything you need.

Walt, I sure am sorry to hear this news. I winced more than once reading your account of things and the injuries you received. Take care and heal fast.
That certainly was tough to read and you're damm lucky to be alive, but you know that. I feel bad for everyone involved here, it must have been hell to watch that come down on a friend and husband. I'm very glad you're going to heal up and wish you the best. Keep us updated with your progress.
I have a wheelchair , walker, lift chair ,hospital bed ,shower chair and a handicap crapper. I think the only thing Robin bought was the shower chair ,everything else was giving or lent to us.
walt needless to say I'm so sorry to hear of your injuries. Joanne and I send our very best for a speedy and complication free recovery. I'll never understand why bad things happen to such good people...

Glad you are now on the mend walt . I had a good friend not so lucky cutting. The skidder hauled a twitch and came back to find a limb had fallen and he was under it. He’s no longer with us. And the 3 months non weight bearing, I can tell you how much that sucks, I own that t shirt.
