I"ve been suffering from a kidney stone for the past 4 wks, with this covid thing, its hard to get into the Dr's of any kind. Did get a hold of the urologists, had a CT scan scheduled for tomorrow. Went to bed at 10ish, last night, woke up at 12ish AM, went back to bed at almost 4 this morning. Got up again at 6:55 went to the bathroom and PASSED A BIG KIDNEY STONE!! What a ANSWER TO PRAYERS!! now i can cancel my CT scan for tomorrow, i'll still probably go to the Dr for a checkup. The best thing, i KNOW GOD's responsible for this, relief , Our mens Prayer group has been Praying for me, and i've been pretty much pain free for some 3 wks, i honestly think this stone's been forming for almost 6 months!! I felt if way last year moving around, and had a strong feeling it was a stone. I HAD to post this, #1 to give GOD ALL THE CREDIT and #2 this is ONE thanksgiving day i'll never forget.

Passing a stone is not a fun thing. I know.

Drink more water to keep another off your to-do list.

That is a possibility, but, i think i've had this one forming for over 6months!! Complained about it at least that long ago. Maybe there is, more of them, but, i'll just take it one day at a time, and be thankful for my personal thanksgiving day Miracle!!

I have been doing exactly that, and will continue to do so. I've had them surgically removed and spent time in the hospital with them, this actually is about the easiest one that i've had. Oh i was sick, and didn't feel good, but, had a feeling that it was a stone, it just took time for it to exit. I could actually feel it moving through my body, my back, my urinary track and finally to the point it was last night/early this morning. Then out!! THANK GOD!!

I’m a member of the club. I’ve passed quite a few, luckily I’ve never had the gut wrenching pain most folks get. If they want to put a stent in you avoid it at all cost, that was painful!

I’m so happy for you that you passed your stone easily. Enjoy Thanksgiving

I've already had a stint put in when i had a bladder stone. your right, its painful and very uncomfortable, i didn't have any choice, in fact i even saved it, lol. The kidney stones to me, felt like i was being kicked in the guts by the biggest guy i know, not too mention i was bleeding inside from being cut up by the stone. 2 of them were super sharp and really nasty looking, this one looks like a ball of really rough sand paper. But, just before it moved down low, felt like i was being stuck with super sharp needles from the inside of me. Then, my flow totally stopped, this really got my attention, i passed it about 2 hrs later. Thank you for the well wishes, you bet we'll enjoy it. What a relief!!! Again, I THANK GOD !!

Glad to hear its behind you now! I'm afraid I have one coming. 2-3 weeks ago I got a constant strong pain from my right kidney. It lasted for 10 minutes before dissipating.

I have a urologist appointment this week for an initial visit for a vasectomy. Ill talk to the Dr then about it.

Good move, always go to the Dr, preferably a urologist right off. All of mine, were gut wrenching pain, like being taken down and literally kicked with boots. When i had my first one i was passing a lot of blood, both just plain red and thick, heavy looking dark in color almost looked like tree bark. It really played with my mind as well, anticipating what was going on inside of me, was really getting to me as well.

That pain as it moves down, feels like someone has some big pliers squeezing on the family jewels.

Had one a couple years ago.....was the first, and was a real trip.

Left the ER (2am ish) for the pharmacy, painkiller wore off. Pulled over every mile to empty the stomache just from the pain. Got to the pharmacy to be told I had a 20 minute wait for the painkiller! Told the red tape behind the desk that I'd be dead in 20 minutes! Back to the er for another dose of ANYTHING. Everything came out ok after that.

ER nurse said they see these more in winter as people forget to drink water . Apple cider vinegar (no more than 4T/qt of water) makes the body more acidic, either dissolving or preventing stone growth.

    God is good!

Can't imagine your pain but I'm certainly glad you passed that stone! I can feel your relief in your text! Best to see the Doc, maybe some antibiotics to forestall any infection from interior damage. Hope you never have to endure that again my Friend!
