Good morning everyone and a Happy Thanksgiving.

I took the 23 pound turkey out of the brine and have placed it in the oven.

It will be my wife, myself, and our two sons for a 1 PM meal, football, a long walk, a nap, zoom calls with extended family, and a second meal around 6 with turkey sandwiches with other left overs.

Our daughter and son-in-law both have covid. They are doing fine...loss of taste, fatigue, and cold-like symptoms. Our 19 month old grand-daughter is fine, thank God. We are driving over a Thanksgiving meal for them today.

No need to worry eatonpcat I've got help just a phone call away. BIL and my best bud have both been a help.. Even if only moral support at times.
    ;)

I've gotten down to surface water, and still not found the water line, so I've got a garden hose to drain the ditch till I can dig a runoff ditch and gravel it in.

Once it stops raining, I'll cement around the infeed conduit (4" Sched 40 PVC pipe with drain holes, through the wall at an angle)
Then I can finish backfill at the house.

Wiring is set, and water manifold in the pump room is complete. All that's left is to find that darn line and connect things.

Fortunately, the rain has replenished our house well, so there's that.
    :)

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everybody. Chaz helped me with the turkey and stuffing today. He did most of it this year. Gonna have turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, gravey (giblet gravy to be precise), yams and dinner rolls. Ya that should be enough. Oh wait, dessert. Apple pie with vanilla ice cream.
    Have a good day all.
    Stay safe and stay healthy.

    Good morning.

Back at it today. Some casting. Some indoor chores. I'm sure a nap may be in order.

Good Morning...:coffee: .... Butter laid out....Turkey should be going on around 8 to 9 a.m. this morning...

Seems like the top of the refridge has now died.... The bottom died November15th... I called warranty... Its not even 3 years old... They finally came out to look at the bottom and said it had a blockage in the sealed system... So I'll be making a phone call....

Glad I got a Beer fridge out in the garage....Plus plugged in the little monster fridge thats down in the basement.....

Yep. Awoke wide awake at 4:30, which means a nap is in my future. Asked wife to go to work so I would have the place alone, given we have the weekend. Going to do some wood cutting today to replenish the shed.

make it a good one, all

Good morning everyone! Might get up to 60° today, so I'll be outside, making firewood, cleaning up more leaves, and making a dump run. Looks like you midwesterners are in for some snow Monday? We get high winds and rain.
I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was nice. I did some cooking, just not turkey.

Morning All. Atmosphere river descending on us today. Hopefully without the wicked winds we had last week. Had a good day delivering firewood to Mom yesterday. Managed to get it unload before the rain. I dug a ditch to try and drain the water from behind the woodshed and garage. I hope it is helping in today's rain.
Inside chores today. Never got the band range extender working properly so I guess I will have to go through the exercise of returning it. Maybe next week.
    Everyone have a great day.
