I hate iPhones. Ive had to have one for years as a work phone though. My personal phones have been Android since the Blackberry went away. At this point, its just a phone for surfing the internet when hiding in my office, or for in case I need to try and escape from work.

I've never paid more than $200 for a phone. Last one was $100. That said I only use the dumb phone options and rarely the internet, as well as I've never lived in a reliable ATT area. Ever, since cell phones became consumer. Would you give me an heads up if you run across a Verizon network android phone please?

It sure felt like Thanksgiving weather today. Overcast and a bit cool. I did a few quick errands after work. I picked up a nice pie for tomorrow and a holiday kissing ball that I dropped off to my parents. I did get some homemade rolls in exchange.

We had an interview this evening with a dog foster mom for a particular dog in Texas. She looks like a great dog. She was living on the streets and someone was able to take her in. Already having cats here, it was difficult to find a dog good with cats, but this one is a big mush and fits the bill.

We were able to have a video chat while she walked the dog and got to see her personality. We will decide by tomorrow and she may even travel up by next weekend. everyone is excited and the time is right here.

We had a pack of coyotes calling at 3:15 am this morning not far from here. It wakes you right up. I haven't heard them in a while.

I hope to get out in the morning and cut or split some wood. If we have rain, a little bit of attic bedroom work is in order.

I hope everyone has a nice Thanksgiving, even if it is different this year. We are going to reach out to family members and video chat and eat a lot of pie.

    :D

Have a good one too. I'll let them be. We have way to many deer around here. I'm sure they help control the population.

There's a ton of them, have been for years. Just from Verizon's website.
    Android Smartphones | Verizon

I'm pretty sure any CDMA smart phone will work on Verizon. You can buy them on Amazon, eBay wherever and plug the Sim into it and it will work.

My daughter wants an IPhone and wants to pay for half of it. She has been working hard, part time, helping a local Entrepreneur, who is the mother of friends of our kids. A good experience for her. So we will let her pay half and we will pay other half. I think she said she found an I-Phone 8 but we will see. The SE looks like a good phone for her as well. Now that she has some time before she gets her phone, we will see if she listens to her parents and takes care of her priorities.

I hate iPhones too. I actually hate all Apple products. I'll only use them when work provides them for free.
What's funny was that my family was one of the only on our school that had a home computer and it was an apple. 2c or 2e? Whatever, this was the early 80's. It was awesome. Term papers, video games, even math video games that I thought were fun. Anyways, I hate the company. Hate all it stands for, except that it's an American company.

After that apple pc, were went with IBM clones and that was that.

I'm going to bring a couple of bins of uglies for firewood to our friends for Thanksgiving. That way we can hang outside more. Roaring fire pit with about 50° partly sunny and light winds will be a really nice Thanksgiving. Of course we'll go inside for dinner and watching football, but I bet my buddy sets up a tv outside too. I have to dig up dad's old Coleman stove so we don't tie up the host's range with our green bean side. A couple minutes on the Coleman outside in a saucepan and It'll be ready.

    Oh yeah beer too.
