Thanks. I use to check every so often after I gave up my subscription but I will have to put it to use this week.
Thanks, I'll take advantage of this. I used to pay for this in the Audi, but it was worth it for the long commute I had at the time.
Just consider it my not so secret santa gift to anyone! (yeah, right!) Just glad that someone else enjoys it and finally remembered to post a heads up!
Same here. We have three vehicles and it has never been renewed on them. I am not a fan of the automatic charging against your accounts.
You can have them not auto bill you, but they send you a bill to renew for like $250.00/year...Then you call and argue with them for 2 hours and they give it to you for 100.00/year. My wife got sick of dealing with them and I don't have the patience so we got rid of it.
This. If you didn’t have to negotiate like your buying a car, I would let them charge my card every month. They are crooked. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
When I was on the phone with them a few months back, I was told the only way they sell is by auto pay. I said I'll pay by check and they said I can't. I said goodbye.
We have it one car and it is autopay but we get it for a year and right before it is ready to renew we call to cancel and they give us a deal.
I had Sirius XM in a previous vehicle and subscribed to one of the deals they sent after the trial was up. It was OK when I drove a lot more. Then it seemed to be the same stuff over and over. It’s easier to make a phone call to the Pope than get through to them to cancel. I got ticked off waiting on the phone and called the credit card company reported the card as lost. The service worked for another month or so before it got shut off. Of course, they called every day trying to reach me. When I bought my truck (used) in 2014 it had an add-on Sirius receiver that the dealer left in it. I was going to take it out, but figured I’d turn it on and see if it worked. It had an active subscription. It worked for almost three years before it quit, so someone figured out they were still paying for it. Pulled it out and sold it on Fleabay for a few bucks. Nowadays if I can’t find anything on FM to listen to, I fire up Pandora and listen to whatever I feel like listening to.
Hold the line! XM rocks and is my only means of entertainment. Here's history: subscription in the truck GMC. Subscription in the house. Bought new truck Ranger....can stream only so cancel one subscription. Now going to let house run out as I can stream inside too merely by Bluetooth. All an upgrade on smartphone. Have it at the beach...in the kayak...backyard....where ever. Scrap you subscriptions and stream! PS I could have paid 499.00 at initial purchase for a lifetime subscription but didnt. Product is great...variety exemplary ....do it!
Sounds like I may have to learn even more new technology. "Streaming" Then again, it may only be another source to keep constant location of your whereabouts?
