Scary thing is, he probably stands a good chance to sell it to someone. Not me, but someone.

I've said it before. Many people don't have access to a wood lot or scrounge pile. That could be exactly what they need for a project.

We see burn pile, they see coffee table base...

Thats a great deal compared to the “decorative” small bundle of poplar/aspen they sell at lowes or home depot to put in your fireplace that your not supposed to burn lol. Or the $12 for 1 cubic foot of pinion pine that sell in a bag.... thats over $1k a cord for pine!

You make an excellent point and I wouldn't have thought of it that way.
I still always laugh though when Backwoods Savage posts these.

Yes, he does. Sometime will make a planter or a cat tree out of them.

Maybe buy them both and put them together for a home for their emotional support chinchilla.

What's funny is guys are selling, and actually getting $30+ each for hollow Shagbark hickory rounds. Etsy people:loco:

I've had people ask for logs similar to this to use as planters for summer flowers. I have no doubt, in the right location, he will get $30 for each.
