Looking to buy a hydraulic splitter, back and all my body parts still work and I want to keep it that way. Bomgaars has a 25 ton vertical/ horizontal Country Pro with a no name motor and a free log catcher for $698.

They also have the 25 ton Yardmax as well for $898. They have a 20% off coupon for one regular priced item on Saturday from 0700-1100 hours. I checked the fine print and it’s not listed as a restricted item. If my math is right, I could pick it up for around $720. I’m thinking this might be the best deal I will find. I’ve checked: Home Depot, Menards, Mills Fleet, Lowe’s, TSC and Amazon.

    Anyone seen any great deals?

I’ve read up on here on the different splitters everyone has and the pros and cons. I think the Yardmax looks like a safe and reliable buy.

I got nothing. I sunk my money into a new stove this year. I'm just stopping by to say hi neighbor. I'm not too far from you.
I had to do a double take when I saw Bomgaars being mentioned.

I’m only about 9 miles from Iowa and head down there quite frequently. I hit the Branding Iron a few times a year and have also been going to Lake Mills as well. I have an aunt and uncle who live in Titonka, but haven’t seen them in quite some time.

Nice. I'm outside of myself. I usually head down to to shop but head up your way every once in a while. Gotta love the Branding Iron. I would go there more if I could.

I ended up getting -THIS- one at TSC for $800 + tax last week. I got lucky though.

I would try this regardless. Splitter tech is splitter tech.

Ive had some cash burning a hole in my pocket for a while, and I was hoping to find another saw on sale. I just spent way more than I was planning on a new car for my wife, so I guess my found money is going towards that.

Yeah, worked out pretty good. I sold my 10 year old Speeco 28 ton for $1,000...which I paid $1,200 for back then. So, 10 years worth of use (probably 90-100 cord or so ran through it) for ~$200. Not too bad of a "yearly rental rate". :D
