Physical ability loss is an awful lot to handle. Especially when it seems to compound itself. Always taking and seldom giving back. Pain and immobility together are very wearing. You have a good attitude and a supporting wife. Make the most of it and keep your determination.
I sanded/second coated the kitchen ceiling for a few hours last evening. My plan is to spend an hour this morning sanding and mudding the final coat. Hopefully primer today and finish coat tomorrow. We are supposed to have nice weather this weekend, so inside work while dark out. I hope to drop the dead spruce out back later if I can get the rope to help pull it the rest of the way down. The Mrs. has been diligently looking for a rescue dog for a few weeks. We keep missing out, or some are untested with cats. We are patient, and the right one will come along eventually.
I always hated working overhead. Always painful. Good luck. When it gets to be too much, hire it done. Good luck with the dog search.
