    Sorry but in no way does this old picture do it justice. It is a beautiful place.

    Jack Pine Lodge. Located between Manistique and Shingleton, in the great UP of MI. I think my first visit was in 1961.

    I'm betting yooperdave has been there many times. He may even own stock!

    Wife and I did a 2500mi 5 day bike trip not real long ago. She said she wouldn’t do it again. Looks like about 932 mi one way. Maybe I’ll have to put the bike in the bed of the truck and drive up so we can explore on 2 wheels. There’s so much I want to see..

    I was there once like 20+ years ago. I barely remember it. All I remember was that you couldn't miss the place because there was nothing else around for miles.
