Will be Chaz and I. Kids all grown and live in Iowa and Colorado. Normally Chaz would be out hunting but this year he will continue to work on the well. I am hoping all the ducks will fall in line so he has a chance to get out hunting.
I will take the under!! Once cocktail hour gets here I give it an hour and a half...So figure 7:30ish
I tell My kid this every time we goto a hockey game and a big brawl breaks out towards the end of the game ,,,,, usually instigated by the losing team
No real need to lock the thread. Just some folks discussing their holiday plans. Harmless.... Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk
We usually do 4 generations of family every Thanksgiving. Usually thirty or so of us depending on who shows. Last year I came down with something a day or two after Thanksgiving that took 3 weeks to recover from. My S-I-L (who probably wouldn't come anyway) just had open heart surgery. This year we are all doing immediate family only so there might be three of us, maybe four. Might do the same for Christmas. So as of right now we're not planning on having the usual Thanksgiving or Christmas. I might do a cookout this coming Summer instead. Haven't done a big Summer barbecue since my dad died in 2004.
Just doing the 6 adults,3 kids under 4-1/2 and 2 dogs that are currently living at the compound. (The cat ran away!) Not letting anybody else in! Gary
over here if we all spend time with our family for xmas, then we face a 28 day lock down in january.so we all stay apart or lock down.
Cancelled all the Thanksgiving plans, only the two of us. I will be happy if we do not catch the virus from all our normal end-of-fall errands (servicing the vehicles, shopping, hair cuts...). Chances of getting the virus are near 100% in our neck-of-the-woods for a group of 10 or more people (we are both over 60). Kids think it would be crazy to have the holiday together. I will not disagree with my misplaced priorities (I would rather cut firewood than catch the virus ).
I will say this in case this goes south, all you guys and gals stay safe and have a good Thanksgiving no matter how you celebrate it.
