    I think it might be black willow, I should take a couple rounds and split it.

    Ive seen a lot of rounds in my day but not sure on this one. Has an elmish look to it based on the bark.

    My first thought was elm based on the end grain picture, but looking at all the thin, wispy branches the logs are laying on, I'd guess black willow

    First two look like elm, last says it isn't (branch configuration is wrong for elm). I don't know what it is.

    I couldn’t help myself and I cut a few rounds to take home. It splits really easy and there is very little to no smell to the fresh splits. I would place my money on black willow.
